Redefining High-End Residential Architecture on the North Shore

On 1 October 2023, the NSW Department of Planning and Environment implemented the most significant update to the Building Sustainability Index (BASIX) since its inception. For all new residential Development Applications (DA) and Complying Development Certificates (CDC) lodged across New South Wales, the minimum thermal comfort standard officially stepped up from a 5.5-star average to a stringent 7-star NatHERS equivalent rating.
